September

  • Organize chapter committees
  • Make plans for president or chapter representative to attend the National Convention in October
  • Review chapter rituals and bylaws
  • Write National Board Correspondent
  • Meet with campus advisor for student organizations
  • Meet with chapter officers and advisors
  • Make assignment for Diamond article (due by October 15)


October

  • Attend the National Convention
  • Make sure notebooks are updated with current forms
  • Diamond articles must be sent to:

November

  • Write to your National Board correspondent (check the Lambda Sigma web site for the board member assigned to your chapter)


December

  • Send holiday greetings to chapters and appropriate board members
  • Send chapter contribution to the Lambda Sigma Scholarship Fund


January

  • Send Mid-year Status Report (5:12) to your board correspondent
  • Review selection process and ritual
  • Assign article for spring Diamond (due by Jan. 31)
  • Start selection process
    (Report on Ritual (
    5:13) must be submitted and approved by the National Board Representative before the process begins, or no later than January 31. Send this report to the Administrative Advisor in charge of Rituals.  This person is listed in the directory and on the Lambda Sigma web page.)


February

  • Select national scholarship applicant. One applicant per chapter may be submitted.  Each chapter determines the selections process.
  • Continue selection process


March

  • Selection process continues


April

  • Membership list, fees, scholarship contribution, and officer reports due before the end of school to the Executive Secretary. Outgoing officers should prepare all forms. 
  • Set up meeting between new and old officers
  • Make appointment for new president and outgoing president to meet with student affairs administrators on your campus
  • May 1 is the deadline for scholarship applications. Applications should be sent to:

May

  • All reports and fees are due to the Executive Secretary no later than June 10. Forms may be emailed or sent to:
